Travel On Tuesday : CenterPOINT Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Alike with the name , being a center attraction in both local and international tourists is both challenging and profitable for business in here . One-stop for dining , entertainment , office, college and car park , similar to 1Borneo, but highly recommended for those who wished to stay on the budget . Less pricey yet promising satisfaction will be earned in CenterPoint Sabah .

Now it's a brand new look and still in renovation

Located strategically between 4 well-known hotel - Promenade Hotel , Le Meridien , Imperial Hotel and Waterfront Hotel (under construction) . If you happened to stay in one of these hotel , check out this place , it's really worth with your time! No need to take taxi or bus , just walking down the streets , then you'll see it from a far.

Maybe in exterior view , this building is nothing compared to 1Borneo , nevertheless still most popular among local and tourists too . Hey , don't judge the book by its cover, right ?

When it comes to food , restaurants and franchise already dominating the eating space here . Except Burger King , there's much more choices that you can't imagined . If you're looking for some local dishes , head on to basement and began exploring ! What's more , curry and roti canai also available here . But one of the famous food is CenterPoint's Chicken Rice (Nasi Ayam CenterPoint) , between RM2.80 - RM 3.80 , cheapest local food and best one .
Local restaurants

Care for some old franchise? There's also a KFC outlet , McDonald , Pizza Hut and less salty Roger's Roster on the basement and a McDonald ice cream outlet , Secret Recipe , Starbucks and others on Palm Square (Level 4 ) .

Surely , CenterPoint is a great place for avid shopper , from the basement to Palm Square . Price, I'll would say not too much of expensive, so I'll say it with affordable prices . Name it all , you can find it here . Clothes , electronic device ,books, stationery, household items ...

If you got some shopping skills, you can find several shops that discounted their items sold .

What's the commotion in here that made this place a big hits to locals ? The answer lies on the Palm Square , fourth floor .

A beautiful square , indoor . Up level 4 to 6 , there's amusement park , bookstore and several other shops that steals the show from levels below .

Palm Square are also a main site for events , so if you're lucky , you might attending one . While ground floor seemingly all big capacity , sometimes that's where all the fairs and big events being held . Open up your eyes and roll the dice !

I grow fonder with the amusement park that situated here . Although there's one arcade game shop on third level and ground floor , but in Growball Funland , well , let's just say it really outrun all the opponents . Entering the corner is strictly for people that wanted just fun and excitement, because this is a heaven (for me, of course) . Growball Cinema Complex also situated here , where it's cheaper than those in Suria Sabah or 1Borneo (they were run by GSC company) .

Varies each day , but not as much as GSC's cinemas
If you unable to read it , I'll explain it to you .

Growball Cinema offers two kind of movie , 2D and 3D . There's nothing strange in this part , right ?

Right on the track , cyber cafe and arcade game center holds overloading fun here too . Bowling ? Count me in , because there was also a bowling center here , named CPS Bowl .

(I'll post more regarding 'Growball Cinema and Fun Land ' next time )

But what kind of shopping complex that gripping an education system as well ?

Or offices?

CPS Tower , where all the offices located

In a nutshell , CentrePoint is one of the complex that absolutely giving you a new experience and a great time to travel with your family , friends and loved ones .

Happy Travelling !
